Expression or destiny number

Eligible letters are totaled and reduced within each word of the birth name; the reduced word values are then combined. The indicator offers symbolic questions about developing ability and expressing potential; destiny does not mean a fixed future.

Using only a first name would omit the family name and any other birth names, so the primary calculation uses the complete birth record name.

Personality number

Consonant values are totaled and reduced within each word before the results are combined. Personality is a symbolic frame for initial impression, social style, and qualities visible to others rather than a complete account of character.

Outward presentation and inner motivation can differ. A gap between personality and soul urge is an expected result of using different letter groups.

Turkish characters and letter groups

The mappings include Ç→C, Ğ→G, İ/ı/I/i→I, Ö→O, Ş→S, and Ü→U. Spaces, hyphens, and straight or curly apostrophes separate words. Unsupported characters are not silently discarded; the input must be corrected.

The basic vowels are A, E, I, O, and U. A lone Y is a vowel. At the start of a word, Y is a consonant if the next letter is a basic vowel; at the end, it is a consonant if the previous letter is one. Otherwise it is a vowel. Inside a word, Y is a vowel only when neither adjacent letter is a basic vowel. This is a consistent classification rule, not a pronunciation analysis.

Birth name and current name

The complete name given at birth is the stable input for the core profile. A current name may add a separate everyday-use layer, but it does not replace the birth-name result.

This distinction avoids suggesting that a later name change erases the original core calculation.

Why reduce each word separately?
