How to Calculate Your Life Path Number
On this site, a life path number is calculated by reducing the birth month, day, and year separately and then combining them; it is used as a symbolic lens for broad themes that may recur across life.
It does not determine talent, decisions, or the future on its own. Instead, it offers a starting theme for observing how you move through experience.

- Treat the birth month, birth day, and four-digit year's digit total as three separate components.

Adding every digit in 2 January 1990 gives 22. This site instead reduces month to 1, day to 2, and year through 19→10→1, then combines them to get 4. Because the method can stop at a master number, the order of reduction can affect the final value.
