What Is Numerology and How Does It Work?
Numerology is a practice that assigns symbolic or occult significance to numbers and may use a name and birth date for interpretation; it is not scientific measurement or certain prediction.
My Numerology Report uses the 1–9 letter-value table commonly called Pythagorean in modern numerology, Turkish and Latin character normalization, and birth-date sums. That label does not mean the historical Pythagoras used the same modern table. Calculation and interpretation remain separate: fixed rules derive the numbers, and a prepared, quality-checked interpretation library explains them.
The method used on this site
- A birth date is processed with the digit rule defined for each date-based metric.
- Name letters are converted with the Pythagorean 1–9 mapping.
- Turkish characters are normalized to stable Latin equivalents, with spacing and punctuation handled consistently.
- Master numbers 11, 22, and 33 remain unreduced only when the relevant metric's rule allows it.
What do the name and birth date represent?
The birth date supports life-path and timing indicators. The name supports expression, inner motivation, and outward-presentation themes. These metrics answer different symbolic questions.
How are master and karmic numbers handled?
11, 22, and 33 are not preserved in every total. They remain master numbers only at an approved stage of the formula. Karmic indicators are described as reflection and growth themes, never as punishment.
How do reports remain consistent?
The same normalized input and fixed reference date select the same content variant. Because no external AI generates the text on demand, the wording does not change randomly.
How is personal data treated?
Names and dates are processed only to create the requested report, without building a permanent user profile. A temporary request and report may remain on the device only for the current browser session.
The limit of numerology
Numerology is not an experimental science and cannot diagnose personality disorders, health conditions, financial outcomes, or relationship futures. Its value lies in comparing symbolic prompts critically with real experience.
